Bernstein : Chichester Psalms
Commissioned for, and originally performed in Chichester Cathedral in July 1965 as part of the Southern Cathedrals Festival of that year. To be accompanied by organ, harp, percussion and violin.
Fauré : Requiem
This work composed in the late 1880's, focused on eternal rest and consolation, is Fauré's best known large work.
The programme will also include Franck - Panis Angelicus; Saint-Saëns - Quam Dilecta and Fauré - Cantique de Jean Racine
